Going to Town

Luke absolutely LOVES this thing! We ordered him a jumper for Christmas and it arrived in the mail today, so we'll have to get some video of him in that soon, too.

In a Predicament

Now that Luke has mastered the art of rolling over (from back to tummy anyway), he is waking himself up from naps in a frenzy because he's rolled over onto his tummy and can't figure out how to get back. I'm not sure why he won't just roll back over, but for both his naps today he woke up angry and frustrated about being on his tummy. :)

He Did It!

Luke has finally mastered the art of rolling over! Jonathan says that he saw Luke go from his tummy to his back on Saturday...twice. But I still haven't seen him do that! Yesterday, though, he rolled from back to tummy just for me. :) I finally was able to get it on camera today. As soon as I put him on his back, he goes to his tummy. He rolls like it's going out of style. :)

Luke & Peyton

I just had to post these pictures of Luke and Peyton. He loves her so much and I think the feelings are mutual. She puts up with a lot. :)

Lukey's First Christmas Present

Here's some video of Luke opening his first Christmas present. He received it in the mail from my good friend Melanie. Thanks Aunt Mimi! :)

My Heart Belongs to Mommy

Here are some pics of Luke and I. He is such a sweetie! And I threw one in of Jonathan and I. We went to his cousin's wedding last night. Jonathan even wore a suit--he looked so good!! :)

New Sounds

Luke loves to make new sounds and faces. He just started this new one a couple days ago. I had to include both videos!

Luke's Five Month Pictures

Luke's Laugh

I love his laugh! He thinks his daddy is hilarious!!

A Winter Parade!

Yesterday we decided to take Luke to his first parade! It was the Christmas parade in Wayland. Even though it was a little cold, we still had a great time. Luke didn't get to see much of the parade, though, as he was bundled up so much we could barely see his face! Maybe his next parade will be more fun...and warmer. :)

Four Month Pictures

I've been meaning to post these pictures we had taken of Luke at four months. They're a little late, but still cute!

Reading the Paper

Luke loves to sit on his daddy's lap and read the paper with him. I'm not sure that it makes reading the paper that easy for Jonathan, but I don't think he minds!

Homemade Wipes

For anyone interested, I found this recipe for homemade baby wipes and it's worked well for me:

1 paper towel roll (cut in half so it looks like a toilet paper roll)
2 cups water
1 tablespoon baby oil
1-2 tablespoon(s) baby wash

Mix the water, baby oil and baby wash together. Place the paper towel roll in a plastic container of your choice and pour the water mixture over it. Let is set for 10 minutes or so then pull out the cardboard center of the roll. The wipes then begin from the center.

Decorating for Christmas

Here are some pictures of our decorations we have for our house. It's the first time we've been able to decorate our house, as we moved in right after Christmas last year. :)

Here's the village set Jonathan bought me on Black Friday when it was really cheap! What a wonderful husband he is. :)

By the way, Luke slept forEVER last night!! I put him to bed shortly before 10 and he didn't wake up until 7. I fed him until 7:30, then but him back to bed and I did not hear him again until 11:20!! What a sleepyhead--I love it! And, of course, that means I got to sleep in til 11:20, which was so incredibly wonderful. Thanks Luke!!!

With New Food Comes....

New poop! Poor Jonathan got to change Lukey's first poopy diaper after eating cereal. You can see how well he handled the smell...
Luke didn't seem to mind it though!

Lukey's First Taste of Cereal

What can I say? He loved it!!

Who's Watching Who?

Jonathan was watching Luke the other night so I could have some time to myself. I found him sleeping on the job, though! :)
