MMM--Homemade Applesauce!

Lately, when Jonathan and I sit down to eat dinner, Luke sits in his high chair next to us and plays with his toys. He's usually fed right before we eat. Often, though, he gets a little upset that we're eating and he's not. So, we give him a little bit of homemade applesauce to tide him over. We think he likes it!

Adventures in Babysitting

This past Saturday Jonathan and I got to babysit for his sister's three kids for four hours. Let me tell you, four hours with four kids ages 5, 4, eight months, and six months is great birth control! :) We did have a good time with them. Here are some pictures from the day.

Future Wrestler?

Luke is thinking about following in his daddy's footsteps and becoming a wrestler.
Elmo had him in a head lock at one point and we were a little worried...
But of course Luke prevailed and won the match. Yea Luke!

Auntie Em, Auntie Em!

Luke's favorite Auntie Em came to visit this weekend. He loved having her feed, rock, hold, and change him! Here are some pictures from the weekend. Also, Luke started clicking his tongue yesterday, which we got some video of. :)

Doesn't he look so old here??

Thanks for coming to visit me Aunt Emily!
Lookin' good!

Feed Me!

Those of you who know Jonathan know what a big eater he is. I have a feeling his son may be taking after him in that area as well. Luke has been eating one jar of stage 2 baby food for dinner. Tonight, I had some green beans leftover that I threw in the blender. It was probably about a half jar or so. It was Luke's first time eating green beans and he loved them! Well, when those were gone, he cried for more. So I opened a jar of squash, thinking he'd only eat about half of it. Boy, was I wrong! He downed the entire jar and then cried for more. He ended up nursing for a good 15 minutes after that! I think we may have a big eater on our hands. :)

"Give me more!"

"What do you mean it's gone?!"

"This isn't funny guys!"

Peas Yes, Apple Juice...Not So Much

Well, Luke is a fan of peas we found out. Apple juice, however, is another story. He still isn't sure about that. Don't ask me why! He makes the funniest faces. I tried to get some pictures but they don't do it justice!

Sweet Potatoes

We decided to give sweet potatoes a try today! Luke seemed a bit confused at first at the new taste, but he ate them no problem. Hopefully he'll be like his dad--willing to eat just about anything! :)

Tons of Christmas Pictures!!

Brace yourselves...there's a slew of pictures to see! We had a very busy week of Christmas parties and traveling. It was a great getaway, but I must say it is good to be home! :)

Merry Christmas!!Jonathan trying to look surprised at his gift from me (a new hair trimmer set).

Athearn Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with Jonathan's family on Christmas Eve. I think Luke enjoyed his first Christmas party, even though he decided to have a blow out in his Santa outfit. (hence the different outfit in the last picture) :)
