What We've Been Up To...

Luke's been obsessed with his Cubs hat and sunglasses, which has made for some funny moments. :)
Doesn't he look so handsome??
My two favorite guys!
Daddy and Luke being silly at the dinner table.

This is a rare thing--Luke never falls asleep like this!

Daddy and the kiddos.

A few weeks back, we had a gorgeous warm Saturday and headed over to my sister-in-law's for a cookout! :)

Addie's Growing Up!

Addison got to experience her first time in the exersaucer last week. She thinks she's pretty big stuff now! :) She's also starting to "talk" more and will just go to town with anyone who will listen to her!

This face cracks me up!

Addison's Dedication

Yesterday we had Addison dedicated during the church service. It was so wonderful to have both our families there to witness us present our daughter before God and promise to raise her in a godly home. The gown Addie wore is actually over 100 years old. It's the christening gown that I wore when I was dedicated and it was worn by Addie's great-great-grandfather when he was dedicated as well. What a legacy!
Our families joined us up front to show their support.
Praying for Addison and her life.

Jonathan and I with our precious baby doll!

Papaw and Meemaw with their grandkids.

Uncle Jacob and Aunt Emily came too

Trick or Treat!

Luke was the cutest little fireman!! It was so cold out, though, that we had to cut our trick-or-treating a little short. Poor Addie didn't get to dress up--it was just too cold. Maybe next year!

A Visit From the Moores

My family came to visit this weekend along with my dear friend Elisa. It was so great to see everyone--the kids loved the extra attention and I loved the extra help!!
Both kids got extra special love this weekend!
Grandpa and Uncle Jacob read some great stories!

Meemaw and Addie
This little girl loved all the extra attention!

Addie is Three Months Old!!

It's hard to believe but our little girl is now three months old! Addison eats every 2-3 hours (she's been having a bit of a growth spurt this week and is eating a lot more!) and still is sleeping through the night. She's doing so well holding her head up and is starting to sit with support. She loves to kick her legs and squirm all over. She's becoming more vocal, loves to be held, and is a bit of a drama queen! She has the funniest facial expressions and lets you know when she's happy or sad or mad! We love her so very much and feel blessed to be her parents!! :)

Sometimes the kids get up early....

...and this is what I get to see! What a great way to start my day!!! :)

Fun Videos

This is from our trip to Sonlife camp for their family fall day. We went with Erin and Andrew and their girls. You have to watch the whole video to see the funny grand finale! :)

I've been working with Luke on learning his name and age. Sometimes he gets confused on which is which, though!

Random Pictures

Here are just some random pictures from our last week or so. Enjoy! :)
Grandma took Luke to Playworld with his cousins. He had such a great time!

I love this picture of him--minus the huge gash on his nose. Still not sure how he did that to himself...

We went to a pumpkin patch with our friends Chris and Chris when they came up to visit us this past weekend. It was a little rainy, though, and we weren't able to be outside much.
Luke enjoyed the donuts we had, though!
And the free ride!

Mommy and Addie cuddling.

Weight Check

We had to bring Addie in for a three month weight check to make sure she's growing--and she is! She's up to 10 lbs. 11 oz., nearly a pound since four weeks ago. She's still around the 25th percentile, but is growing none-the-less.

Fall Fun!

We had a fun weekend filled with lots of fall activities. The weather was finally nice enough that we could get outside and do things! On Saturday we went to a fall family day at Son Life camp with our friends Andrew and Erin. We went for a hayride, a boat ride, listened to music, got faces painted, and ate yummy food! :)

Luke checking out the pumpkins.

Going for a hayride!

A little chilly for a boat ride, but they had fun none-the-less! (Addie and I stayed behind and watched.)

Luke and Emma are such good friends.

What a cute couple! :)

Then on Sunday we carved pumpkins!

Luke wasn't too sure about the whole thing...

Jonathan had a great idea to let Luke draw a face on the pumpkin and then he carved it out. Luke thought it was too scary, though!
I thought it turned out pretty good!
